Not only the game is awesome, but the squads even more.
The most awesome units imo are the german heavy Panzers and the Volksgrenadiers.

I only have played CoH1 because my PC is very weak. But one day I'd love to play CoH2.
Personally, I'm a heavily defensive and very non-aggressive player. I only send my units to attack late in the game, when I have stuff like tons of Grenadiers/Rangers, StuGs/Wolverines and Panthers/Shermans 76mm.
I use AT guns and MGs for most of the game.
