Well, compare a pistol round with a sniper round, the sniper one will have more recoil.
The 7.92x33mm Kurz is smaller than the assault rifle rounds used today (7.62x39mm), and that's why the STG had less recoil than the AK, for example.

Well, I actually one time also liked the Nazis and I was really hyped on that, but not anymore and never again I would do something like that!
