Very nice shot, good focus as well. I like that the model is off-center as well. Some shots just work better like that, this is one of them.

Thank you very much! When I was shooting it, I tried one with him right in the center, and it looked overpowering for him. I wanted the waves and fog to have the power in this, and Dan (The model) to be enveloped by it all.

Yeah, when I went out onto the "diving board" rock (don't have a photo of it, but it was a single rock about a foot wide sticking right off the edge about 4 feet) and looked down, it looked like I was floating above the water, and I've never felt more like I was going to die than in that moment.. amazing, but stupid.. hehe

well... a beautiful composition the cliffs, the waves down there, the fog they all made this a grat picture the gray and sad colors gave the whole thing a bit of a melancholic feeling and the model came in with a nice contrast into the grays ... the only thing i can critisize iz that the model is a bit too much at the center of the cadrage if i were u i'dplace the model a bit more to the left bottom but else grat job

Thank you very much, and thanks also for the constructive criticism. Believe me, if I could just go back this instant and re shoot this, I would in a heartbeat (and like a hundred times over). This was a really quickly set up shot. There were many people around and I had to ask a few of them to move so they didn't get in the shot, and more were coming toward us, so I tried to just make the best of it as quickly as I could. But now that I think of it, I tried placing Dan (the model) into the lower left like you suggested, but the fog ate up so much of the picture so quickly like that and almost dominated the whole thing. I can't exactly remember... all I know is that if I had the chance, believe me, I'd be back trying several different things...
