Possibly my favorite Artemis quote of all time, plus the best quote I see for heroes who are too busy angsting to fix the problems they caused. Feeling bad about yourself doesn't solve anything, and while it's very human, it's puts the attention on you and not the person you hurt, so it makes sense Artemis would try to kick M'gann's butt in gear. So that's why we've got M'gann and Kaldur in the background; it was for the original context the quote was used in (Aside: drawing the scene where M'gann psychically lobotomizes Kaldur made me feel like crying).

The rest of the picture - the part that has Artemis's family - is because I think Artemis could have been thinking about herself here. Granted, I don't think Artemis did anything as harmful to someone else as destroying their mind*. But I still can imagine her taking that choice - deciding to be a hero, deciding to do something about the hand she had, and admire the conviction she expresses here.
