My Christmas everyone! In celebration of this festive time (they're green and red that's relevant enough) I bring you my first forray into the Kamen Rider franchise.
That's right, this year I finally tripped over and fell head first into the Kamen Rider fandom, it's been my primary new obsession of 2020.

These two (or one and a half) were very simple and enjoyable to make, especially as there are certain things I've learned to do in Photoshop over the last year that made this SO much easier, particularly the ability to create and use patterns which saved my life on the eyes. I chose to go with the original colours for Ichigo because I like them best for some reason (so I was very happy they brought them back for Superhero Senki), and Nigou obviously gets the iconic updated colours.
Now that they're here though, where do they - or indeed, any of the other Kamen Riders - stand lore wise with my own Power Rangers/Super Sentai mashup continuity? Well my current thinking is that all of the showa Riders are aliens mostly from the same planet, and that honestly isn't a hard sell given how similar a lot of them are in both look and origin. The aspect of them being cyborgs made by the villains would of course remain intact, as would pretty much anything that doesn't directly conflict with them not necessarily being set on earth honestly.

Now, does this mean I will be working on Kamen Riders going forward? Yes. Will I be making every single Rider? Very unlikely, maybe some day but it's not something I plan on. Will I be making additional forms at all? It's EXTREMELY unlikely beyond easy recolours or very particular cases.
At the moment, I have no plans, no goals, no real ambitions and I can't make any promises other than "there will be more... someday"
