"... What are you?"

A Naga character of mine called Xsahth upon meeting Jaslin for the first time. Needless to say, he's never seen a human before. In fact, no one has. Humans have been extinct for over two thousand years. Which begs the question... Where, exactly, did Jaslin come from?

Jaslin, if you're wondering about the name, is named for her maternal grandmother, Jasmine, and her paternal grandmother, Caroline. Doesn't look like a happy camper, does she? She doesn't know how she got there, either, and she really doesn't care, just as long as no one eats her.

Xsahth, on the other hand, is the royal physician of the Naga sovereign, and can be a bit eccentric at the best of times -especially when he takes it upon himself to study Jaslin ("a veritable living fossil") and test his various -incorrect- theories about ancient humans. He's always suspected that humans were able to fly at one point, though he's never been able to prove it...

Just a pic for a little sidestory I'm doing while I work out a few kinks with my novel.

EDITED: Changed parts of Jaslin's appearance -hair, skin tone, etc. Changed Xsahth's skintone, too.
