Well i ranted and complained about TEN, so now i think i'm gonna give it some praise, and imma start by saying...SINCE I COMPLAINED ABOUT IT, IT SUDDENLY BECAME LIKE A MILLION PERCENT MORE DOABLE.
IDK WHAT HAPPENED BUT NOW IT'S LIKE I HAVE A TON OF CONFIDENCE!
So...
Yeah, it's not EASY now but i think that huge break from it did me well, even being on the Wii!
I told you guys venting helps me
Anyway, i just wanted to make a collage of some of the stuff on the Scavengers' ships and show off the really pretty scenery!
As you can imagine, the Fellmuth and Scav' area is my favorite in TEN.
Even with its challenges, it's the most fun for me!
I think the reason i like drawing attention to this section is because, well...it's what really got me into pirates.
Spyro got me into dragons, and then Spyro's pirates got me into pirates.
Hahah, funny how that works.
I had Fae start off as a Scavenger; like everything i'm doing with my persona basically stems from Spyro, and this part of the trilogy!
IT'S A BEAUTIFUL MADNESS!!! *spazzes*
There's honestly a lot of beautiful details in the Scav's stuff, like the rugs, carvings, etc.
TLoS's gothic style (before Activision shat on it) is just so striking to me, and idc that the graphics aren't outstanding.
Sometimes more graphics means less character.
Krome had CHARACTER.
Btw i wanna talk about the fact that...those little bastards had one of those armadillo things in a cage on a ship!!
AND...it was blue... >__>
The ones in Tall Plains were tan, so now i'm left to wonder if the blue ones are an exotic subspecies or something
Either way every time i get to it, i kill it by tail striking the top of the cage, just to put it out of its misery ;__;
I think it's safe to say the Scavengers like to trade and pass exotic animals around...bad dogs...
So there it is, my praise and gratitude
Imma probably use the collage for phone backgrounds and stuff, hope someone else enjoys it, too!!

I think the poor graphics can be explained by it being on PS2 and Wii. The first game was also on GameCube so I don't expect cutting edge looks. That and I was a dumb kid who always thought the two games looked great. The fire is still well done though (i think)
Plus the style and "theme" of the first two in the trilogy is just so appealing to me. I don't want to call DoD bland or unoriginal but. . yeah I kind of am. It had less charm in the look department I suppose. Still nice looking for the most part.
I have these games on multiple systems myself. The first I played on GameCube, while the second two I originally got on DS (never finished) Later I got the GBA ver of ANB and the PS2 version of TEN. Eventuallu I got the console ver of the last one. DotD is on Wii. Not the greatest console for Spyro I gotta say.
Also these look brighter than they should. It looks like it's daytime. Must be the colors and brightness of the screen.

dont know why but every time i play this i still can't find the last few feathers and masks.....

Levels in TEN are really well designed actually

I think two of my personal favourite levels in this game would be the Ancient Grove (not too surprising, as I loved Tall Plains) and the Celestial Caves (soooo pretty! And I loved the music!). I mean, I love every level of the first two games (DotD makes me cry), but some pull at my heart more.
I pray with every fiber of my being that they remaster TLoS, but make the third game in the same style as the first two, instead of making it randomly different. I don't mind how DotD looked as its own thing, but as part of the trilogy I definitely prefer the first two and hate with every piece of my soul that they changed it.

Ugh i don't like the Grove, i mean it's cool but TOO MANY FREAKIN' HELL HOUND BASTARDS AND TROLLS.
EVERY LEVEL IN ANB IS THE BEST
Ugh i'm kinda torn, like i wanna see it remastered but i also worry what new ways they could find to ruin it ;__;
But i agree, DotD would've been perfect on its own, but NOT IN THE MIDDLE OF THE DAMN SERIES. XD

HAH i noticed that the first time, but whenever i get around the pirate stuff i've ALWAYS taken my time to investigate everything for feathers, blue gems, masks, etc.
When i first saw the animal i realized i could kill it, then felt sad for it all around X'D

I've never ever collected all the secrets in the first two. Only DotD... And I usually love exploring! Idk...
