[quote pending]----------------------
Lol long story short, Dib offers Lard Nar and Pepps (prisoner 777) an earth grape, and here they are trying to figure out if it's poisonous or not.
And no, this is not some sort of super grape; keep in mind that Vortians are tiny too, so a normal grape would fill up their whole hands >u<

To some animals, such as dogs and meerkats, grapes are toxic.

What can they eat?

imma say Vorts can eat just about anything we can honestly, i mean we see Irkens eating nachos and candy and food that has the same name as our stuff, but Zim is sickened/hurt by human food, so it probably all just has something to do with the different chemicals on different planets ^^

Again, as I said before, Yohen Vaquez knows something about having Asperger's/Autism. I think Zim's reaction is just sensory related and unique to him. Food allergies or sensitivities are so common to autism that some people are wondering if it shouldn't be added to the diagnosistic criteria. I've heard of autistic kids having to have feeding tubes put in so they won't starve themselves to death.Β A lot of people on autism forums say they can relate to Zim's "pea meltdown" from the "Bestest Friend" episode.

Some autistic people will tell you that's what it feels like to them when water touches them.

Me too and water doesn't bother me, people telling me what to do in the water however did. People touching me did hurt and still does. It's really hard to explain, and I can't really without getting into New Age mumbo jumbo. Some people claim they can see something called an "aura". I wonder if I can just physically feel them. My ASish mom was able to talk to the dead until she got scared and taught herself how to turn it off and aparently talking to the dead ran in her family for generations. Maybe autistic people are so sensitive they are just aware of things that most people cant even begin to fathom.

I also used to have trouble with clothes. I'm an adult now and dress how I want so I kinda forget how much trouble I used to have with clothes.Β If I went to a private school or went to school before the 70's, I would have been stripping in the classroom. www.smithsonianmag.com/arts-cuβ¦Β and possibly being beaten for it. I DEFINATLY have sensory integration disorder. I can't wear anything with buttons or embroidery. I can only wear T-shirts that are two sizes larger than my actual size (even before I got fat, I don't like feeling suffocated).
Obsessions were my biggest autistic trait but they only seemed to bother other people. I was one of those "just don't give a f*ck" people and if people didn't like me, I didn't care. Extactaly what am I supposed to do with these creepy "friend" things I don't have anything in common with? Someone! Please tell me! You insist that I have them so much I should at least deserve an explanation on WHY I supposedly need them. To this day no one has given me an actualΒ answer but the closest I have come up with are hints that it's "not normal" to not have friends. Like I said,Β Jhonen Vasquez knows something about Asperger's.
I've always had this weird thing with my knees and joints that no doctor would look into because it was "due to the autism". If something touched them when they were unbent I felt like I would faint. My mom never really believed me or had a sick sense of humor because she would grab them when they were unbent and laugh about it. I always screamed.

um...no offense but your mom sounds a little...awful .___. holy crap...
See my signs used to be more obvious, but as i got older i began to quickly learn to hide them as many high functioning autistics do.
I have sensory probs in everything, taste being the LEAST sensitive, but still quite sensitive.
My biggest issues are hearing and touch.
Touch is getting better, but hearing remains a problem that i think will be here for a long time to come.
I can hear things no one else i know can, like our ultra sonic noise maker that frightens our dogs when they get mean to strangers.
Humans aren't supposed to be able to pick up on it but i can hear it inside my ears and it makes me wig out every time XD
As for friends, i've just always clung to people.
I was one of those, "everyone is my friend" autistics.
Now i know that's not true, but i put a remarkably high standard on friendship.
It's everything to me
