Wasn't quite sure where to put this so I chose something random 8DWASSAT?! SOMETHING THAT ISN'T DIGITAL!? NO WAI.
Yeah. I have been thinking of doing some water color/mixed media crap lately and my friend 6to8 from Gaia had this really neat avatar, and she recently bid 500k on my charity auction for my quest, so I made her a pretty.
This isn't such a great image of it really... I mean, the colors are almost right, but not QUITE. I am kinda proud though, because this is a picture that I took with my camera. I found this really great spot on my kitchen wall with nice lighting that I can photograph stuff on.
Anywho, 3 hours probably? I don't know, I was working on it on and off from 10-2:20am last night. Inspired by the fun-ness that is hooka bars. We had a great time last night, made some friends. Hopefully we'll go again on wednesday and hang out with them again.
This is ink pen thingies, watercolor and white out on 11x14" bristol board.
I DID do some color correcting in photoshop for the picture, and used some brushes to white out the corners, but that's all.

I think I saw this on Gaia somewhere! What I love about this is that it doesn't look like an avatar from gaia, you really added your own style and made it look like an original character and not just the typical avatar. I love the colors you used and think the Kimono-like sleeves are beautiful!

It is slightly creepy, but in a good way, I think.
It kind of drew me in the first time I looked at it; I was curious to know the story behind it because it looked so inviting. 8D

Holy crap...I love the Van-Goghness of it, for lack of a better term (the left eye reminded me of Starry Night for some insane reason)!
