A Navajo lady on the news the other night was talking about how in her culture, the solar eclipse is something that, even with the technology to do so, they do not look at the eclipse.
Not because of danger or fear, but because for all of their time here, that group has believed the Sun and the Moon are coming together for a cosmic kiss, and that they should be shown respect and privacy.
Solar eclipses are, for them, a day to reflect, respect, and let love in.

To me these things don't mean we're on the fast path to the end of humanity; it's just birthing pain of a more progressive world, and regardless of the celestial Age, we're always going to be moving towards that anyway.
The way i see it, the only warning signs about "the end of the world" are the ones we have all brought on ALL BY OURSELVES, by collectively taking a synthetic and chemically-rotten dump on our own planet.
It's heating up, there are more fires and animals are dying rapidly, more natural disasters are picking up and no, Trump-humpers, climate change isn't fake, and the rate it's at is not natural.

I actually live right in the path of totality, which is SUPER cool, but that also means people are pouring in by the THOUSANDS to view the eclipse, so my city is painfully crowded.

Which, i mean yeah, that's frustrating, but it doesn't have to be horrible if you're a decent person.
If you've traveled to come see the eclipse, don't be a cockfuck.
Be respectful, be mindful of everyone else, don't be a twat.
But a lot of people are mad about people traveling, being excited and giving a shit about it, which is equally as infuriating as the hollow-skulled fear mongers.

I don't totally understand that due to some obvious reasons, but i trust the scientists understand what they're talking about.

Tomorrow i just wanna talk to Ash and read him all these fresh bitch posts, drink sweet tea, eat pizza rolls, meditate and do some spiritual things to soak in the eclipse in my soul and be able to appreciate it.
As an example of my love of the eclipse, in 2017 i left a seashell outside under the sky and opened the shell's energy to "record" the energy of the eclipse.
It feels haunting and powerful every time i hold it.
