Description Sorry, there won't be a tutorial for this one. I didn't bother taking pictures throughout the process, because I just wanted it done. I could type up a text one if you REALLY want it, but don't expect it at any reasonable time before halloween.

It's made from a 3" mailing tube from Staples [link] , cardboard craft boxes, cardboard, 1/4" fun foam, electrical tape and some blue cellophane.

I based the LED set up on this Instructable [link] in case you are wondering how I did that. It cost me less than 5$ for the parts. If you are planning to do this yourself, you don't actually need the battery snap as suggested by the Instructable. Also, you don't need to solder. I just twisted my wires together as much as I could and taped them.

The LED is green simply because it was 0.25$ for a green one vs 2.00$ for a blue or white one. I figured since I got the darn thing to light up, it's all I really needed to impress people.

I was going to connect it with a tube to the backpack, but I decided against it. I'm already pretty encumbered with the backpack and the rubber gloves. Also, I'm making the bonesaw, and I want to switch weapons with ease at the party. ^^

Great job! I used a torch and red cellophane in mine, but an LED is clearly a more elegant solution.

Awesome! TF2 on Xbox sucks. No free updates. No playing with people on PC.

Yeah, Microsoft wants every single penny you have. Nothing is free from them. But now I have it for PC and I'm happy -Happy tears-

You are now my new hero.lol. Seriously, as much as I love building things from cardboard (made a working airplane costume one year, and a working grandfather clock two years ago), this is amazing craftsmanship. :c)

Definitely have fun. :c)

Thanks. The grandfather clock sounds really cool (and original!) I hope you won a costume contest for those! I certainly plan on having fun, especially with the rest of Team Blu @ the party.
