"Tauriel" He said softly with a struggling voice, exhaling each word."Lie still" she said while binding his wound.
"You cannot be her" Kili continued, "She is far.. she.. she is far, far away from me. She walks... in starlight, in another world"
Kili closed his eyes for a moment, frowning as his tone changed to a sad and longing one.. "It was just a dream".
Tauriel turned to him heaving deeply. Her lips parted, heartbeats so fast it was almost impossible to breathe. Right then, his fingers interlaced with hers in a gentle way, making her tremble to the warm contact of his hand on hers...
"You think she could have loved me?" asked the young dwarf in a soft pleading tone that stole her heart.
