Description
After seeing the videos of Lee Pace in the movie Soldier's Girl on journal, I decided it BEGGED for a crossover.Here you can see the varied reactions of the elf realm to their king.

You know, I actually think Lee Pace did an amazing job in Soldier's Girl. I really doubt there are many male actors who can play a female character like he did and, as a woman myself, I actually felt proud and grateful to see a man who could really grasp so many little gestures and attitudes which make someone appear feminine. I don't really get the idea of negative reactions to his performance, or to that character. I saw nothing vulgar or embarrassing in his performance. You can look at that scene where Calpernia/Lee is only dressed in a slip in front of a mirror and feel nothing but sorrow for the character's insecurities. And yes, he could play that little female external orgasm better than all female porn actresses I've seen and far more dignifying, you can be sure of that.

All that you are saying is nice, but keep in mind the joke about the crossover is the fact that it is ELVES reacting to this phenomenon with their elven minds. Kind of like what a Viking would react like to an alien from outer space that is holding a hammer. And since Lee Pace does both characters (Calpernia AND Thranduil), and in this particular scene he is wearing a long straight blonde wig (just like he does for the elf king character), then the crossover blended in perfectly.
No offense intended, but I believe your "defense" of the actor's skills is misplaced, for I am not making fun of his acting skills but of the similarities in characters and bringing them to an elven context. I even had the dwarves react to the same image with their dwarf mentalities on another strip. Check it out.

Well, Lee Pace must look as a transexual, not a travesty, so he has to look more female (he said in an interview he lost 25lbs)
