Here is another one of Richard Calmes ' dancers. I've been very fortunate to receive permission from this amazing dance photographer to use his photo here as a reference for this drawing.

Thank you so much! She's a beautiful dancer and Richard is such an incredible photographer in how he captures that muscle tone. And I do love drawing ballet shoes, there's something so elegant about them. Hair is a different matter.😌 I was worried when I drew it because it's so important to this image and I find hair pretty difficult but I'm pleased with how it turned out.πŸ˜‰

Thanks Joanna! I love that you notice them. Sometimes I think about the title the whole time I'm working on a drawing, and sometimes it pops into my head before I've even started. I do enjoy it.
