Oh, what a cool shot of an osprey! Those have to be one of my favorite birds-of-prey. The wing pose here is great....You may have prompted me to paint an osprey again....

I'm honored to be your muse if you decide to paint one! I was a bit lucky to get this shot as clear as it was, since I used a manual focus lens. I can't wait until more ospreys show up around here! Summer is kind of their low point (as well as for other large herons and other waders.) Thanks for the kind comment.

Yep, we're lucky enough to have a nearby beach and wildlife preserve right across the street from it, so there's a variety of birds and other creatures that show up there. Thank you!
