I wouldn't doubt there's a lot of errors in this abomination of a reference.Then again, Mephisto is one!

Ezmae: -she tilted her head, watching. Once he had removed the mask, she blinked, a bit surprised- ...hm. -It honestly wasn't as bad as she was imagining it to be- I do not see what there is do be afraid of. -she was quite blunt- I was expecting hanging flesh, or exposed muscles.

Mephy: Isn't burns and scars bad enough. Or the fact that there's an eye in there when i distinctly remember that it was stabbed out of my skull? Does this look like a normal eye to you? No, because normal eyes look a bit better than this. *he sighs and spins the mask between his fingers* No maybe it's not that bad it's just that it brings a bit too much attention to me.

Ezmae: -she shrugged lightly- Appearance does not matter; I have seen other with half faces, half bodies...I have even seen those with no eyes. -she smirked slightly- Whether you show that half of your face or not, you will still draw attention to yourself; your height will do that alone, as well as, you may look menacing to others.

When you give up, or stop, despite the fact that you can still continue fighting, or that you can still continue pushing foreward...that is defeat.

When you are in the outside world, you have to depend on yourself to survive; and most of the time, you have to fight with all you've got to continue pushing foreward, and surviving.
