Cautiously approaching the sound, Annalae recognizes the caterwauling of one of the feline companions she brought down with her. Now, however, thanks to the shocking bath of cold water, the Cat Witch's connection to the felines' senses is minimal. She is shocked when she stumbles onto a scene of unhinged feline panic and rage without any prior hint or inner warning.
The shock and horror of what this means keep Annalae motionless. She knows her bond with the summoned Cat Shade was severed, but that could be renewed with time and ritual. But being unable to share the senses of her feline companions means something else is at work. She wonders if perhaps that meddlesome scholar girl Luther dragged down into the Undercellar has done more than Annalae realized.

Again, Lindsey provided the stock photo for Annalae here. Thanks, Lindsey!
Sorry it took so long in getting here. Next one should be quicker. Couldn't find a place to stamp the (C) 2009 Jeff Fairbourn, but oh well.
Enjoy!

Yes! I meant to put that on, too! It was very late last night when I posted this, and I was just eager to go to bed. Great minds think alike.

Hello Jeff.
Two questions. Did you draw all of those lines on the wall by hand? How long did it take you to draw all of those lines?
Beautiful anatomy on the woman. Your talent to get anatomy right is incredible. I also really the close attention to detail on those ropes. It seems nothing escapes your attention.

Shane, thanks for the comment and compliments! Yes, the lines actually took about 40% of the overall time spent on the image (about four out of 10 hours). They may not have taken so long except for the number of interruptions my art has had lately. Ah well. It happens.
