**********************************************************

It is the upward pull of the line about her throat that spurs Valerin into motion rather than the gesturing fingers of the gremlin on her shoulder. First she straightens and is rewarded with another loosening of the choking line. Then another tug and tightening prompts her higher until she brings a knee up and struggles to get to her feet. As she does so, the mob pulls and yanks on the ropes securing her body, tightening and tethering her in their grasp even though she towers above them once again.

**********************************************************

Gremlin Count: 350. Valerin was drawn with the wonderful and inspiring references provided by photographer *Viator-Defessus and model ~catchan . If you're enjoying Valerin's "misadventure" (thanks for the word, Emily), please let them know.

Enjoy!

Note: Rats in the Cellar and Demon's Due are a work of fantasy and fiction. The artist/creator in no way condones this kind of treatment toward any woman or man, by living person, gremlin, plant, assassin, ratman, viscous fluid, programmed device, animated home furnishings, or otherworldly spiritual beings. Furthermore, the artist opposes the marginalizing and restriction of women in general by any institution, political and/or religious, including those which have individual women amongst their membership touting/promoting their own happiness within that institution as evidence that ALL women should feel the same way. This includes the religion I was raised in and which I have utterly discarded from my life over this and other issues.

This is really great. The gestures of all the figures really work together, and her pose is amazing.Β

Man, this image deserves more love than it's getting.Β  I love Val's posture, you can see her struggling to keep her balance with all the little f*ckers hanging off of her and denied the use of her arms.Β  And for some reason, I'm really drawn to her neck and jawline.Β  I love the way the tendon stands out on a woman's neck when she turns her head that way.

Phenomenal! And, somehow, those errant strands of hair make her look even more attractive!

Do you ever sleep?

Thanks! That is a real good question, actually. I have some definite issues with proper sleeping, but the real question is: Does the production of this art come as a result of not being able to sleep, or as its cause...?
