Well, the best thing I'd recommend is to study form. I don't know if your aim is to get more of a flat cartoony look or more like a comic book sort of 3rd dimesion depth. In drawing that's probably the hardest thing i've had to learn, and still havent completely implemented it in my drawing.
You also have a sketchy sort of linework. In many places there isn't one defined line. Again, this is ok if that's the style you're going for. If it's a problem, (which, again it was with me) I've found that it's best to do a drawing on something like printer paper first. Either transferring it to a cleaner sheet by tracing over it, thus making lines more defined, or inking it with a pen and then going over the whole thing with an eraser.
Though your texture up in the tree is interesting, I think it would look better if you used the texturizer filter in photoshop with some sort of pattern. If you don't use a pattern, you can apply noise, then something that warps the noise to make it look like a design.
Overall though, I think you did a good job with this piece. the robots look cool and I like how amazingly high the tree looks. It's sort of fun to wonder how the hell he might have gotten up there.
...Isn't that the robot from Lost in Space?

This is a wonderful comment, thank you. I mean that.
I'm not sure what i was aiming for as far as depth goes, but you're right, it's important to make up your mind.. .and frankly, it looks as if i was going for two different things if you compare the robots to the guy in the tree.
I'm re-doing a lot of the drawing, i posted an early stage of it in my scrapbook if you're interested, i'll have it finished probably by later tonight though
and yes, that is the robot from lost in space, you're the first one to notice
Thank you again for the comment

funny... i like left robot.
well, the arm which is behind the other (huuum, is that sentence correct? don't know, maybe you'll understand me...) should be a bit smaller than the other one... especially the hand. because of the perspective.
namenlos? do you speak german??
