Dear god.
Dont expect a lot of this from Germany.
Been trying to get a handle on Corel Painter, and possibly on painting in Photoshop. Bleh, it isnt going well.
Here are the results of my 2nd stab at painter.
was thinking of when I drew it.

I've definitely felt like this before.
I think I have corel painter somewhere in my cavern-like computer. I've used it before and I liked it, but it aeemed kinda hard to get hang of. I don't know if it's intentional, but the eyes look sorta glassy and liquidy. It's a cool idea whichever way you lookitit.
Yeah. I don't know. I guess I could do more happy type work, but it just seems to be such a boring 1-sided emotion (which is why when I try to portray it, it's always overdone and hokey). It's good of course, but anxiety, sadness, exhaustion, loneliness, fear, and paranoia are just more interesting to me.
Nice work with corel, I'm interested to see what hell you'll come up with.

Yeah, itΒ΄s fun for experiments, but very frustrating when you have something in mind ahead of tiem that you want to get out of it.

i dont agree with ishpeming...cuz you got alllmost that light right to the left of the top of his head and it works down just fine

i like this one a lot, it's quite a different style from all of your other artwork.

I like the movement and the color, and the cheekbones on his face are awesome. the upper right part of the background (I am sure you know though) is faded, and I like that it matches with the light source and darkens as it goes to the left, but I think it is too faint and that the gradient should happen over more space.
that is an awesome chin, the shading is very nice, you choose the colors really well.
