Description
My version of a tree wife. Top is needle sculpted cloth with beading over wire and cloth armature, bottom is curly willow branches. The dress is handmade collage fabric that is impossible to photograph...trust me it's gorgeous in real life...with a tulle skirt and leaves made of more collage fabric. She stand just under 2 feet tall and has a little mushroom bird on her finger. Full view here: [link]Related content

That cloth is to die for And cleve use of those leaf shaped beads. I think I have some white ones of those still floathing around somewhere. (Well, not floating, probably skulking...)

Thanks! The cloth takes forever to make but it's a fun process.

The hair makes her look a bit like a willow dryad or something. The detail on the vine is very impressive.

She looks very kind and caring. I think the dress is amazing, though I can tell that there is a lot of color and detail that isn't quite coming through in the photo. It must shine in at least three different ways in the sunlight.

Thank-you! Yes, the fabric is so amazing, it has all these different colors and textures, but I can't figure out a way to photograph it! I'm going to try and take some more shots if the sun is out today.
