I mean seriously, I understand that people have certain beliefs and won't always agree with you, but you have to be like five years old if "homosexuality is for dumb people" is your only actual argument against homosexuality. :/

Also, I hate erasure of the asexual community because I happen to be asexual and I find it annoying for people to tell me it doesn't exist.

And actually, that isn't completely it. They started off by saying that "even animals and insects" know better. Which several people pointed out 'was wrong' because over 1,000 species have shown that there are homosexuals within them.
Then they went on to say we are below animals because we should know better.
Now they're saying that we threaten the very existence of life. *facepalms* This is ridiculous...


And yeah, I know. I tried pointing out hat I have friends who are asexual and they were all "they won't be when they're over 50" and, like, five different people came out of no one and started trying to prove to this girl that asexuality is real.

assuming 10% of the population is gay (and I'm being very generous, since that's more than double the 4.1 percentage of openly gay people according to US census in 2007), that would make the total homosexual human population at 706,766,087.

Assuming everyone in that population never had children through adoptions, surrogates, or other forms of artificial insemination, and assuming the total world population DOESN'T increase at all, that would only bring the total population down to 6,360,894,783, in about 69.6 years ( going by global human life expectancy) which is hardly a dent, considering about 3,939,153,566 deaths (about 4.5 times that amount) would have occured in that same amount of time through other causes like heart disease, cancer, accidents, etc.

meanwhile, there are 13 million orphaned children without parents or homes who would probably love a gay parent or two ;u;

yeaaahhh. Sorry for the long text wall, but I just had to go and prove how old and ridiculous that "gays are the death of us" argument is.

I've been arguing for a while with this guy who thinks that anyone in the LGBTQA community just has a mental disorder, and now I'm actually semi-curious as to how his brain works. Like, he says that it's all a mental disorder. So, what about trans* people? He said that they have a mental disorder as well, because they were just born gay.
So...When a transman is homosexual, which biologically would be like a straight girl, how would you explain that? I don't get it.
I just don't get it.

I mean, yeah, my writing partner and I put our characters through hell and they go all kinds of pain, but neither of us find pleasure in it, and our characters sure don't either.
Well, except for one, but he was crazy and even the character who was supposed to end up with him figured that out and wouldn't let us put them together, which is probably a good thing or they'd both be dead and it would be sad.
I don't understand how people can enjoy seeing others in pain, no matter what kind of pain it is...
