for =remiyaa , who asked for a matching pair of customs. I was asked to do these in flat color, which is why they're not shaded.I found that working with 5 flat colors in a design is harder than it looks xD;
The two adoptables are actually the same size, but the canvas is smaller on this one because her staff took up less space. I wanted them them to look very close to one another, almost identical, but with obvious differences.

Oh wow, I really love this o.o
Not only is the hair really pretty, but the way it mirrors the wings unifies the design. Even though I'm not usually fond of orange, I think that it works really well in the design and the colors just work well in general. I like how the staff is tied to her through color and the repetition of the circular figures make her seem like a steady and calm character. Very centered and balanced. Because the diamond shaped gem at the bottom of the coat disrupts the circular pattern it becomes a focal point, but I can't decide if that's a good or a bad thing, since it doesn't really bother me, but it seems like a weird place to focus. I'm sure some of it is subconsious, but like even the way the bell shape and bottom heaviness of the design is balanced out by the hair and wings, everything just kind of works and has this quality that only your designs really have.

There are angles all around the drawing, but they're pretty hard to spot and not as obvious as the diamond shape the bottom, which I admit was probably something subconscious and I'll try to be more careful of that in future designs xD;

Well I can't even totally decide on if I actually focus on the diamond at the bottom and not the face? The large blue eyes and the way the skin breaks the color trend also really makes the face stand out (more so than if what she was wearing was really revealing).
