Description
Subject: Snow Leopard (Uncia uncia)Experiment: Draw a realistic snow leopard with as few anatomical faults as possible.
Time: 3hr
Comments: What can I say but this one was a real success!
As I just said, snow leopards an endangered species. Just like tigers and elephants, they need YOUR help. There's several things you can do...
-Promote snow leopards through artwork and photography on the internet and in real life.
-Donate to an organization which supports endangered species. Here are some great ones!
-Never, EVER buy products which come from endangered animals. If we don't buy them, poachers won't make a profit and will stop killing our precious endangered species. As WildAid says; "Together we can do anything!"
Thanks everybody!

Wonderful pose! I think it works very well being a bit off centered too, like it's a moment of true action captured

I love all of the snow leopard love going around lately. The Snow Leopard Trust has made some serious donation money because of dA; it's awesome that so many people here got together to help them out. ^^
This is really good; I looove that tail~ Beautiful coat too, and the snow!

I heard about that! I'm so glad that people have been able to help, but I hope we can help other organizations too. Lately I've been finding quite a few that need help, like the Amur leopard one you posted a link to and one for cheetahs. I wish I could make a calendar or something to help the cats more.

I see I missed that poll but this snow leopard does look very cute and I like the smattering of show over his/her back.
Too bad caracal wasn't an option though.

Ahaha, the butt up looks great, he seems playful!
You did a terrific job on the anatomy! I specially love the muzzle and the spots look so accurate and nature-created!

Yee thankies! I think this kitty found some wild mint or something.
I like drawing rosettes, even though they're very tedious.
I found it interesting that snow leopards have bigger spots than most other cats! I'm quite proud of this one mostly because I believe it's the first time I've gotten the face of a cat I've drawn for the most part right.

This is so great, you did a splendid job with this! Your cat anatomy has improved significantly. The line art is smooth, the cell shading looks great, and the spots on the leopard look so niiice!
Beautiful

Whoa, it's like a giant wood louse of the sea! O.o That's so cool! I've never really drawn a bug-type critter, but I'll give it my best shot.
