Subject: Akeli & Kotu as kittens!
Experiment: Errrr....... draw baby kitties? *fail*
Time: 2 hr
Comments: So, this is heavily inspired by the last ubertastic page of =akeli & ~thrones 's Guardians where Kotu pretty much became ruler of deviantART's comic protagonist population simply through his pure cuteness - that kitten is fricking ADORABLE. If you don't understand how cute this cat is, then I hereby order you to check out =akeli 's page where the comic is posted and read it!

So, as I was being blindsided by the extremely fuzzy creature that is young Kotu (he's badass as an adult y'know) I started to wonder how cute his counterpart Akeli would be if she was a kitten too! Thus, the idea for this picture was born. They're supposed to kinda look yin yangy - the idea of using a yin yang for two characters has been in my head for ages, but I've never been able to employ it before this. Since Akeli and Kotu are cats, they provided the perfect subject matter for this idea. (Or is that prrrrrrfect? )

Today's been a busy day. I came home from school, my roommate came home and we did some errands. (In which I made my latest self portrait highly inaccurate.) I had been planning to do more stuff and a more experimental speedie (next week, I promise) but time constraints got in the way. In the future, I'm going to try to get each week's speedie completed before friday so it's submitted in time - this one is an hour late. It's saturday here by 56 minutes. ><
