really nice modeling. very clean surface - beautiful work. the texture looks a bit too shiny. you also need to texture the weels.

Nice work ... but it doesn't look exactly like any T80 variant I've seen. Mind if I have a look at your references ... I'm trying to catalogue most modern Russian tanks.

well ofcoarse, it's not 100% perfect!
i'd say I followed the blueprints like 70-80%

Beautiful modeling and textures. My only recomendation would be some sort of global illumination to reduce sharp shadows and dark patches such as under the round part where the gun in mounted.

I actually kind of like the shadows, but for the purpose of showing off the model, I guess it would be a good idea to tone down the shadows or make some global illumination

Hey! you updated it. I think a softer shadow would be better.

Looks awesome man, saw you on the CGTalk forums, I just joined as well. Keep up the good work.
Only thing I'd say is tone down the specularity/glossiness. It looks a tad too shiny to be a tank.

wow that is prett amazingly cool
I'm a bit obsessed with tanks and that looks an acurate model of a T-80 to me!!
couple of things don't look quite right to me: the tube at the back of the turret(I don't know what it is but) I think its not long enough, the Infra-Red sight looks a little small(might just be my memory though), and the drivers hatch looks a little big.
still a lot better than most models I've seen tho
good work!

Yeah, I already knew it wasn't going to be absolutely accurate, you need some pretty good blueprints to do that.
well thanks I'm glad it looks somewhat like the t80

Shiny, but perhaps a bit too shiny? I don't know much about rendering so I can't give you much advice on how to fix that, but... other than that, it looks like I could jump in it and start kicking ass.
