[ ' Miraphy took a step closer, and Illucid's eyes rolled. His pupils dilated, turning his once blue eyes nearly black. "D-d-d-d-" he stammered unsuccessfully. His mouth hung open, but words refused to form. He was terrified, and the little mare just tried to come closer and help him. He knew once he snapped, he wouldn't have any control left, and he'd hurt her. That was the last thing he wanted. A tear streamed down his cheek. Stumbling, struggling, Illucid turned away from her, wanting to get as far away as possible. His ears twitched at the sound of her voice, and his eyes went wide. She wasn't afraid? She was trying to help? Maybe she was the one going insane. This was enough to push Illucid over. His own fear had consumed him, swallowing him under. His body completely stopped shaking, and suddenly he snapped back around, eyes glazed over, unseeing, teeth bared. This was no longer the silly, adventurous stallion he tried to be.

Without warning, the buckskin lunged out at the mare, teeth flashing as he went in for a piece of her. If she wouldn't leave him alone, he'd make her. He was sick of all of these fake horses trying to be nice to him. He was tired of having to hide his true self. His fear controlled everything now, and no matter how badly Illucid wanted it to stop, he knew it couldn't. These psychotic flashes had to run their own course. For now, he was trapped in a shell, feeling hollow and empty, attacking a mare he thought he had liked. He had no way of controlling his actions, and he prayed for the second time in his life to the unicorns that she'd be smart enough to run away until he could go back to normal.

When the mare saw a tear running down his cheek she stepped back. Something went wrong here. Without any warning Illucid made a jump towards Miraphy, but the arabian had learned to be quick and swift from her years in the city, dodging Illucid's attack like the one of a cougar. her instincts, that had warned her earlier already and had told her to run away now screamed her to listen to them, and she did, out of reflex. While she ran, her mind frantically searched for an explaination and eventually found one: schizophrenia. She had heard about it from Zsa Zsa who had known someone with the desease. her friend had told her that horses could have more than one personality and there was always one hidden behind the other. In situations of stress or fear they would switch, and Illucid had defenitely seem to be fearful, terrified even! But once again Miraphy knew only the theory, not the praxis. She had no idea how she could help Illucid, if there was any way to help at all. She only knew that this furious Illucid may not be the same Illucid she had got to know, but it was Illucid nevertheless. She could not just snap him out of being himself, like you could snap someone out of a hallucination. No, she needed a plan B, C or even D this time around. Plan A was going back to the others and leaving Illucid for himself, though this prooved itself to be difficult, since the stallion was between her and the great pine and she did not dare to go more near him. Plan B was to take a long way through the forest back to the pine, but it was very much possible that there were predators in there or even Bachelor stallions. She did not want to risk that. Plan C was to keep running until Illucid calmed down and plan D was to stop, stand where she was and wait what happened.
From these four options she favored plan C, it guaranteed her survival more than any of the other plans so she did how she planned and ran for it. Immidiately she thought of a plan E: If she would run in circles and if Illucid followed her, then she would be able to get to the Great Pine. This meant that Illucid would follow her though and she was not very sure about that. ' ]

This looked a lot better in my head. It took me a very long time to find poses and I'm still not satisfied with them, but.. oh well. I had a lot of Illu muse so I wanted to draw him. I loveloveLOVE this rp so I had to draw something from it. Illu doesn't look as insane as I pictured him to be. I'm having a hard time with it. And don't even get me started on the background. It took me awhile and I still don't like it and hm. Oh well. Still fun to draw. Sorry if I messed up Miraphy's markings. I references a bunch of pictures of her, but it still didn't seem right. And um. So yeah.

also this is back at the Great Pine.. I have no idea what it looks like around there and just guessed based on the surroundings in our rp. so. yeah.
