Lame title is lame. Whatever. Im not sure how much I like the top one, but I do like the bottom!
I have learned an important lesson. I still cant draw rocks...

Oh well! Anyway, you asked for a night time picture, so I did both at night! I strayed a bit from the descriptions you gave me, simply because I couldnt find a good way to draw them. I tried to make the first one look like it was the edge of a cliff and she would have needed to go through the roots.
The bottom picture is like she was walking back from a good find only to stumble across an egg, deciding that it was more important, she abandoned the items she had found.
