Before I say anything else, I have to thank [link] for giving me the idea for this pic and making me go through with it. I also was urged by [link] - my girlfriend.So this is what happens when Foku and the gang are made to sit down for a serious 'family' photo... Hal gets out of place and gnaws on Fo's bandages, Emie can't help but show off and fly around, and Goll just sits there looking disgruntled with Doll on his head. Yes, these are all my characters.
I started this about a month ago, and finally got around to finishing the background and scanning it. I had to do it in 5 or 6 pieces, because it's a big pic. 14"x17", to be precise. I spent all day on it in Photoshop. I don't much like the coloring, but it was even more horrible before I added the nuclear/sulfuric rain glow to everyone. I'm just glad I'm done with it. I hate working all day on a pic and then not being satisfied with the final product. I am pleased with the lineart though... check out those hanging cloths. Wooo.
I'll be doing more group shots once I have all my main characters designed (right now I'm missing two).. but until then... boy, I can't wait to start uploading pics that I *haven't* spent all day on.

what a great composition!
the background is wonderfull, would love to get this kind of lightning into a photo. but I guess its really your great coloring and palette that makes this so beatiful.
the girls are sweet to die for and the chars seem to all portray a certain attitude or so, like the 3 monkeys with closed eyes, ears and mouth.

But I think the left arm of the blue-haired boy is a bit short. The one stretched forward is really cool. I just love how the angel flies around and the naked other girl looks so cute and cheaky ^_^ Wow the pin-heads so huuuge

Absolutley stunning. I hate you and your photoshop skillz because I have yet to master mine!! Then again I just got my tablet about 2 weeks ago...I guess I just need patience to master it. The fact you have patience to even do a group photo says enough.....lol

firstly, i love the composistion in general. i think it's great and nice and balanced and yum. The drapery is REALLY impressive. It's so perfect and i love how in the top right you have it folding in on itself and....yeah. And all the crap on the ground is great. Espically underneth Halcyon's hand. The characters are so nicely integrated into the backround! It's..so....wholeeee. It's a nice backround in general, i like it a whole lot. Goll is awesome. I already told you how awesome that is. I like Hal's pose a whole bunch. the fact that you had her tummy fold makes her look very real. And her face and hair is really great. Your characters suddenly have a deeper depth in their faces...different from your normal face thing. it's good. Keep doing that. I'm a little iffy on Foku's pose though.He looks like he's posing like..how you draw him all the time. doing poses and guestures and stuff.
I get that Hal is chewin on his bandages, but it's hard to see. I like the radioactive glow .and i like the colors and everything. You should be pleased. you wouldn't guess what i'm going to do......+fav omg

Those pose and the story behind it is very cute, the coloring looks great to me can't figure out why don'y like it but hey that just an opinion. I'm so glad you decided to finish it cause I belive as a whole it looks spectaculor!

I'd always seen people drawing your Halcyon(forgive me if it's mispelled) character, so I finally decided to check out your gallery. And if all of your pictures are as good as this then I know I'm not waisting my time. I love the ethereal feel to the picture, and they are extremely well drawn.
