Pixel Tag Tutorial, my style.Yep...that's about it...
Oh, and almost everything was done in MSPaint, with a mouse, minus the sketch at the start and the background, which is pixeled anyway...so don't complain about a lack of tools.
MSPaint FTW

I like the tutorial, but I always wondered what pixelart was for? Is it exclusively for stamps and avatars? and why not reduce any image down until you reach pixelation?

Pixel art is just a style, it's the way most digital art had to be created years ago, when all game art was created with pixels and monitors had limited colours.
Some people take it as a personal challenge to create a piece of work that looks smooth without any bending or soft lines.
Other people simply have no other program.
It changes from person to person, but 'ure' pixel art is created with a limited palette and placed pixel, by pixel.
I do it for a bit of fun, just to prove to myself that MSPaint is still useful to me
