So far 9 of you demand an OT12 Series... I dunno, if I'm going to do all 12, I should AT least have 12 of you demanding things....In the meantime, Chanyeol! Decided to do Kai's fanboy next in line...
Any opinions on who should be #3??
9x12" Mixed Media Paper (oh yeah - this worked much better for the watercolor but was a bigger pain for blending the charcoal).

My next one has neither side making eye contact... but there's really no rhyme or reason to the portraits... I just find ones that I want to do in black and white and another that I want to do in color and that seem to fit alright together. My apologies for the overdose of Chanyeol's stare.

Not trusting myself to be able to draw them lol... My traditional art is lacking a bit and I am usually scared of posting it too lol XD But definitely those few I neglect as well lol

Chen presents the biggest problem to me... I don't know why.... I've still only drawn him as part of series or 1 request from a friend of mine.... it's not that he doesn't have striking features, but I'm not particularly drawn to him ... like I never have "Oh I have to draw that!" when I run across Chen pictures... at least, not yet.

Yeah! I have the same feeling with Kyungsoo as well...
Like for me when I see a photo of Kai, Sehun, Baekhyun and Tao they just have a particular expression that is distinct.
Example:
Sehun - his jaw, or the way his eyes look really sharp and his angels he is photographed at are well contrasted!
Kai - his jaw, scrunched nose, hair to shoes define who he is; he has a really dominate character as Kai and then subtle Jongin appears.
Baekhyun - he is interesting, eyes and mouth are expressive, plus he has those pretty hands too lol XD
Tao - he is just a warrior and assassin with the sketchbooks of all media lol
Chen is just gorgeous but not too much of a character is shown, same for Kyungsoo, Lay, Suho and others.
Did I make any sense ?

It does make sense... and I am with you there... for Tao it's the eyes... like... definite warrior glare but at the same time, he's so feline in body movement. Kai just is very aware of himself so he can pose from head to toe and at this point, probably does it without thinking (and ya know, those lips... mhmm). Sehun, yup, jaw and eyes... angles... mhmmm and Baekhyun... I don't know what it is...it's like there's 100x more going on behind his eyes than what's readable on his face... I have to add Luhan, because his sparkly eyes and girlie features are hard to ignore... although I find myself gawking at him more than I do drawing him, lol.
The rest have good photos here and there, but it takes a lot more for me to be motivated artistically by them...

Feline Tao, kissable plump lips JongJong and then Sehun just that stare and his broad shoulders mess me up mhmm~
I was about to mention Luhan too, because not only does he have these girlish features he is really well photographed! For some reason, I stare at him all the time and barely draw him XD He is not simple but simple to draw as well!
Chanyeol is 50/50 for me? He has some pictures where I am literally gawking at it and then I am like awe he is so cute...
But I usually have to make a character with them so yeah hahaha... You make themes for them?
I am preparing to draw a winged Kai with a few scratches... and for some reason I can see it in my head but I can't take more than 15 minutes sketching hahaha Makes me so overwhelmed thinking about him like that

Yeah, Chanyeol is 50/50 for me too. I love his eyes, and sometimes he's caught in really beautiful moments ... but most of the time I just smile at his pictures and pass them up ... (However, my best friend is Chanyeol biased, so I usually draw him rather quickly when I'm doing a series)

hahaha I agree... Lately the way he looks behind that drum set is captivating! I can't help but fall into my Yeol phase again lol especially with Roommate and the urge to screenshot and paint lol T^T

I call him my elephant... But really he is my Linguini lol... I can't help it but he looks just like Linguini from Ratatouille, especially when he had the red hair XD

Um, I did the drawing and inking yesterday ... so that was about an hour... then I spent a good part of today on it... Safely assume about 5-6 hours... which is definitely more time than it takes me when I'm just doing a single face and not two.
