Remember my photomanip of Moonlit Ridge? [link]Well here's my second painting project... derived from that manipulation. This assignment was to do something in only one color base...and so it's blue. 24"x30" in Acrylics.... took me about 4 hours.

I"m amazes at the calibur of a lot of the painters here. I never really looked at them much unless they were in daily divinations and the whatnot... But I gotta say this is fantastic. THe ability to blend the light from the moon into the night sky is very masterfully done :-P all my blending ends up choppy but then again I need more paint variety ... but Anywho... This is great. really is. Keep up the good work

This is an incredible piece of artwork. So dramatic... I was just browsing and it immediately caught my eye.
The use of only one colour base is really effective and I'm in awe at the photographic quality of the painting.

The lighting and colours in this is really good. I really like the way you've painted the clouds and the light parts in the reflection. Really nice work.
