A character assignment is coming up and this is my concept.This little girl actually rides the panda, and has a bamboo double sided spear. (it's secretly me, but the AIE people don't know that. Do they? >_>)
Her clothes are rather silk like, so I'm trying to make it look like that a bit. >>
Do have more concepts but they aren't as great. >D
Maybe will submit in scraps later...

You should try something, thats well not anime style. The style provides next to no detail that would present itself as a worthwhile challenge to normal map. Which is a big point of the character assignment.

I realise that anime characters have rarely any detail put in them, however i am so sick and tired of people bulking a character with muscle, or adding tons of armor on to make it look "cool" its projecting to males always and it pisses me to no end. this world needs more cute, aimed not to the men. that's the main reason why its like this, and this is why there is no armor muscle bullshit.

yeah i can understand that. I dont really agree with the game industry needs more cute, since the average age of a gamer is 30
But there is ways to add detail without making things over complicated and muscles overly bulky.
