We're so sorry we've been gone,

Cronus tapped his pen on his chin steadily, trying not to get distracted by the pouring rain outside. He held his guitar in his lap, feet up on the desk in front of him. There had to be some way to word his love for (Name).

Well, of course everyone knew he loved her as though she was his own personal angel - maybe she was.

So, what was the meaning of all this?

Well, on a day as boring as this, why not mix your two favorite things in the world and see what you get? That's exactly what he was trying to do.

(Name) was a song all by herself, and Cronus was the only one who could catch the tune. Yet, the tune was all he could get - he couldn't find words to describe her perfection, his love for her.

He growled at the messy paper on the desk, scribbling over it in an attempt to clear his head and think of something for her.

She..smells like roses? No, no, what would that go with? Of course, she does smell like roses...

"Cronus?"

The young man threw his pen into the air above him and placed his guitar roughly onto the floor, groaning in defeat. (Name) laughed, peaking into the paper-cluttered room.

"What have you been up to?"

"Doll, I'm a bit busy here," he covered his eyes with his hands, leaning over the paper with few words scratched down.

(Name) waltzed over to her stressed boyfriend, lightly plucking the paper from under his elbow.

"(Name), don't read that."

"Why not?" (Name) put her finger to her bottom lip, smiling at the sweet words on the paper. "I like it so far."

He sighed. Might as well go with it.

"Babe, I'm lost."

"Why is that?"

He looked through his fingers at her, her (h/c) hair freely hanging around her face.

"You're just impossible to write about," He threw his hands in the air, "You're a damn song, a masterpiece. I have no words to describe you! How the fuck am I supposed to let you know how much you mean to me without the right words?"

"Well, you're doing alright so far. I'm already wooed," she laughed.

(Name) rolled Cronus's chair in front of her, sitting in his lap and leaning into him, placing a hand on his cheek.

"Babe, forget writing a song about me. All the love you show me all the time is as good as any song."

"I got it," he murmured.

"Huh?"

Cronus reached for the guitar and shoved it into (Name)'s hands.

"I've been trying to make a song about you all day, but maybe I just need to hear a song by you."

"Cronus I can't play guitar!" she laughed.

Cronus placed his hands on hers, strumming at strings while she hummed along. Cronus's song wasn't a song afterall, but a dorky girl he just happened to love.
