Brave, Frozen and Tangled were about the princesses, and were just named after a word that represented the primcess and the story. And and Frozen was the first to have equal emphasis on the Queen and Princess. And honestly, Elsa is more princess than queen. Granted, she is regal and responsible and qualified to lead a kingdom, but she is still very young. She is a princess's age.

People would consider Mulan to be a princess because she was "coronated" by the emperor.
She's also one of my favorite princesses because she was the only princess who wasn't born one or married into the royal family.
