wow. look at this totally original species that I came up with.

the koigeyser is an intelligent small tribe that mostly spends a lot of their time around the hot springs and massive lakes that reside within the redwoods. they enjoy swimming and holding territory around the hot waters, often waging personal war against the geyser-trap Wyrms.
these 15 meter dragons are usually friendly from a distance, though if agitated, they will fire out pressurized water from within their chamber, though they require to drink water before being able to fire out the water jet.

they don't have gills but can hold their breath for several hours without issue. they are also strangely fire resistant and typically wouldn't burn even to dragon fire, making them immune to hot temperatures.
they can go weeks without water and live off a diet mostly consisting of fish and lake slugs, occasionally fruit.

their colors range in bright golden oranges and amber colors, with their fins ranging from colors of cherry pink to lake white.
their yellow stripped patterns also have a very soft bioluminescence to them in order to see better in the dark.

koigeysers only really live in the redwoods, but se do venture out into the tropics and even oceans at rare times.
