My favorite character must and has to be Fingal. Apart from him it is Sepia. I don't understand why Urchin doesn't realize she's in love with him!

This was the saddest thing. I had to read the chapter TWICE for it to sink in...so, so tragic. What a beautiful rendering of this heart-wrenching scene.

Yes, that is her name in the English version as well. That scene hooked me to the books... I ate the last one up in a single day.. felt a bit stupid after... but hey, I never had much control with 'sweets'.
