Remember that picture of smaug that I drew a few months ago for my dad??? Well, I dislike it so while my dad was reading the hobbit aloud I got the motivation to redraw it except better and digitally. This scene is right after Bilbo steals the cup (or whatever he steals) and Smaug gets really angry. He's mad, hopefully you can tell that just by looking at him.

The book says that Smaug is "red golden", I wasn't sure how to do that, so this is what I came up with.

I like this picture 1000 times better than the other one, it seems as though I'm always improving in my art, so when I look back at my old drawings... I hate them

spent 5 1/2 hours drawing this (its 4:00 AM now, I stared at 10:30 PM, oh great, its 4 in the morning X|)
