Lily.
...lily CARNation.
You should watch One Piece movie 6 for some interesting animation done with minimal style like yours.

I notice now how you tend to do longer torsos and shorter legs, which is generally a reality compared to human proportion idealization in art. Being into clothes lately I realize I have a longer torso and shorter legs and also see other body types with longer legs. I wonder if this choice of yours is based on conscious reflection of reality or your own body type.
Turnarounds are assed up when done like this. You did a 'hey I'm cool' turnaround featuring very nice perspective as if the character is in the room with you. When you do real turn arounds in the biz you can do this and most probably won't have any idea, but you really do want a flattened character with all the details lining up perfectly in all angles of the turn.
Then you draw a few realistic perspective poses to show how the character comes down of the relatively flat turn around and onto the layout.
Since you are just making these for yourself they work well enough. Such simplification of detail means you must be very conscious of perspective in shoulders, hand-to-hand, foot-to-foot, and the bottoms of the clothes, as well as the head where most attention will focus. A nice way to localize efforts of perspective. And she is floating in space most times, which is brilliant for excusing minor slips in form and perspective.

The torso to legs ratio thing came about when I was looking at my reflection on the back of a showerhead - because of the convex shape it gives a fisheye perspective on everything and so my legs looked tiny compared to my torso but it looked like the legs were still able to support me, if you get what I mean. I feel the smaller legs help to convey weight in some of the characters I draw.
As for the turnarounds, we were asked by our (mostly useless) lecturer not to do them in standard/flattened poses. I have done standard turnarounds in the past though. Thanks for your awesome feedback again!

I see where you are coming from. If you want to seriously observe bent perspective; use a door peep. Those cheap little lenses come in a variety of tweaked focal lengths, and will give you an idea how fisheye perspectives work as you wander around the world looking through one.
Good to know you were taught about proper technique. I can never tell these days since most art teachers are kind of arbitrary and never worked thoroughly in the biz, leaving the kids confused.
If you want to pull together the odd perspective that shortens the legs, lay down a bent grid on the floor beneath your characters when illustrating (or maybe even animating). Now I look at your characters, they tend to have diminished feet or heads as if you force the viewer to look down or up at these extreme figures and monoliths. Good stuff.
