Hey, this is an angel, cutting off her wings with a knife for that she can stay with her human lover on earth
...I love stories like that and this was actually inspired by a scene from the movie "Legion", when Paul Bettany cuts off his wings...Btw, I LOVE drawing angels, so I hope you like it and leave some comments

Beautiful use of motion! the way you brushed in the ink... it leaves a really great swoop that gives that sense of motion. But, what leaves the best impression is the forceful look on her face and the way she is holding the dagger. She cut off her wings and even though there should be a look of pain she is so sure about her decision and that pain doesn't matter.
I did a piece similar to this once for my graduating portfolio for college. I did an angel with her wings broken and snapped laying at the foot of the gates of hell. I love concepts like these as well. That higher powers want to live the life that we have.

Naja, also folgendes: Ich tauche einen dicken Pinsel einfach in die rote Farbe, tunke ihn dann noch einmal ins Wasser und dann halte ich ihn etwas schräg über's Blatt. Und dann schnipse ich mit dem Finger knapp über den Pinselhaaren dagegen...und schwups sieht es aus, als hätte jemand Nasenbluten gehabt
