dA needs to stop changing the pages so much and so often. -.o And I think the doodle's craptastic, but Kay says it's good so I'll take her word for it.anyway, I doodled this after a chat where I pulled out Israel to pin a personality on her as well as a name. Prussia took a shine to her and well... >.> I think they're pretty balanced. She's too serious and he loosens her up a little. Of course, in our combined head canon Prussia's actually DEAD so this would never actually happen in any real world scenario, but in our random rp it works. XD

oh, her name... Amiel Meir. Amiel = My people are of God. something like that.... yeah.
kinda fucked up with Amiel there, though... she's supposed to be relatively short and curvy with lots of messy brown curls she keeps up in a ponytail and hazel eyes.

Um, you do realize that the Germans and Prussians were the first people to be abused by the Nazis, right? Not only that, but Prussia had the largest section of Jews that were taken out first. The leader of a nation does not generally reflect the character of the nation. The way we played with it--me and my friend --Russia was completely broken by the Revolution--which is actually historically accurate--and Stalin's reign of terror further broke him; likewise, you have Germany and Prussia both trying to keep up appearances while secretly hating Hitler for slightly different reasons: Prussia hates Hitler because Germany is being hurt by Hitler--German troops were being killed in large numbers and starved--and he's feeling the losses of every single person of Prussia that's dying including the jews, and Germany hates Hitler because he's watching his brother waste away and feeling the same thing in him as well.
That being said, you're welcome to not like the pairing. We thought it was cute because new Israel grew up too fast and doesn't have much of a sense of humor, and Prussia brings it out of her.

No offense, but I can't really understand what you just wrote.
Point is, it's from an RP with my bestie. We liked the pairing and so I do the pairing. We use history as the playground for these RPs with Hetalia, and they're usually very dramatic as opposed to funny. In one RP we had it take place.....I think in the 70s. Russia dragged Prussia along to taunt Germany with. Israel was in attendance and was constantly getting into fights with her neighboring nations because they wanted to get rid of her. It was the first time she ever saw Prussia. At first she just didn't give a damn and kind of ignored him, and then he escaped Russia's side to explore a little in New York and grabbed her along for the ride. She's super serious, so his sense of humor helped her to relax finally. She bought him a sandwich and they ate and people-watched until Russia found him and pretty much dragged him away with a look that very clearly said, "If you don't come with me, I'm going to do worse to Germany."
Israel didn't quite understand what was going on, but she liked talking with Prussia. He was wearing a tarnished star of David under his shirt and said he found it after being forced to tour a camp with Germany. For most of WWII, we had him pretty much dying because he had a large number of the German Jews that were being tortured and exterminated, not to mention the war was pretty well killing them both thanks to German/Prussian soldiers dying.
Trying to remember... I remember writing where Germany repeatedly confronted Hitler, but always had to back down, because if he didn't worse things would happen to Prussia or someone else he might care about. It depends on the story, of course, since we had many different RPs and I wrote fanfictions based off of them.
But anyway, the reason we put Prussia and Israel together was purely because they just complimented each other personality-wise. She's super serious and he's not. She relaxes around him and he kind of mellows out with her. kind of, because it's still Prussia.

Messy(ish) brown curls, hazel eyes.... Sounds like my mom, who actually taught dancing in Israel for a while, and speaks more-or-less fluent Hebrew. So, my mom could go as Israel or as Hungary--she also speaks Hungarian, go figure XP

Both my parents lived in Israel for a period of time, and my mom taught Jewish folk dancing. Both my parents have sisters in Israel who are married and observant, one has 3 boys and 3 girls, the other has 2 boys and 3 girls. So I have 11 first cousins in Israel, and I think I have 11 SECOND cousins in Israel! (Sons/daughters of your cousins) this is not considering my HALF-cousins(cousins of your cousins, related to you through marriage)....

I heard from 1 of my friends, also a Hetalia geek (and a CRAZY Prussia fan-- has a shirt w/ him on it, the cosplay..) that In the 5th season they're introducing Israel as a boy. I'm happy/sad. Also my other Jew friend says that Israel is her OC (sighs, rolls eyes), her OC's name is Yael. But, if Iz were to have an American name, it would TOTALLY be Isabelle. Actually, not a bad idea.... America could call her that...

sausage fest refers to something having a lot of men in it. Hetalia is dominated by men in it. I am complaining that it is that. There are characters I and a friend have created that have come out to be men in canon, such as India. India, as a whole, ought to be portrayed as a woman because the society of India kinda begs it. As my grandpa was quick to point out, Jewish society is partially a matriarchy, where your Jewish lineage is only legitimate if you are born from a Jewish mother and Jewish grandmother and so on. Hence, Israel, modern Israel, is a woman.

My parents are both Jewish, my ancestors from both sides are from Lithuania I think.. Snort! Just pictured myself as Liet. Also, when you mentioned India, my brain split-screen: one side with the Chibi-India you sometimes see if u look it up online, and the other side with a Chibi stereotypical Indian woman, with the scarves and flowing clothes... But it felt like I had seen a Chibi Fem!India before.... And she was the same style as the other chibi(in my head)... Weird

I tend to dress her in whatever compliments her. Prussia/Israel came about because Prussia, in an rp, had no girl to mack on. Israel there was the one I pulled in and it came about. I have little care if some people have them be an item or not, for me Prussia's mischievousness compliments Amiel's general lack of humor. (She grew up too fast.)

Funny you say 'lack of sense of humor', usually when I picture Israelis, they're smiling and laughing. Then again, they're also dancing at a wedding. "Simon tov u mazel tov, u mazel tov simon tov!" But, I sometimes picture Israelis not smiling-- at the Western Wall.

nah nah... you misunderstand. See, the Israelis have a great sense of humor... Amiel does not. This is a personal thing. It has little do with the rest of her people, it's just that she was forced to grow up in the blink of an eye. She's had no childhood and she's been fighting since before she could even call herself a nation. She's been bleeding for decades and she's grown to be very serious.

Actually, she's the new Israel. Judea is a man and dead. At least, that's my head canon. The new Israel was born in the 20th century. She was born pretty much fighting for survival against the Arabic nations.
