It was really windy this evening so I went to the lake and hoped it wouldn't start raining. It didn't rain at all and the sunset was amazing.I took lots of photos but very few succeeded.. Handholding a filter is something I should practice more often, or perhaps I should buy some blu tack
I was handholding my Cokin P121M upside down and the grad line is visible in most of the photos that I took (It was difficult to hold it steadily as it was so windy and cold!) You can see the grad line even in this one, but I liked the light in this photo so I decided to upload it. f/16, 2 seconds, ISO 100, 13mm.
I made two exposures (lighter and darker) of one photo and blended them.

Beautiful sunset. I find it a little distracting that the pole is in 2 different positions, but you can't help the fact that it moved. The light on the water and the waves coming into the rocks are fantastic. I know handholding a filter is difficult, maybe you should consider getting a filter holder (probably a better option than blu tack

I do have a cokin P series wide-angle filter holder but even that one causes vignetting on 12mm and you can't stack filters as it only has slot for one filter
I'm considering to buy Lee filters when I afford them.

I like the spray coming off the rocks, it make it look kind of eery and mystical, and I agree with you on the light very pretty.

very nice, I like the composition. The rocks are like I'm looking down at my feet and the distance feels head high, yet the painting is not very long...if you understand what I mean? Great feeling!

I only uploaded this photo because I find the light so beautiful and I like the waves crashing the rocks.
The rest - I'm not satisfied with the sky and the grad line which is so visible.
Well, I had fun standing at the shore for an hour even though it was freezing cold

You done well holding it with a 2 sec exposure, I love the colours, I bet the sunset was more amazing in person though
