Please full view this piece and recognize what pain is.

So, I did this one last because I knew it'd be a pain in the ass, but I had a specific image in my mind of what this one would look like, as I wanted it to mirror the white mage - redux piece. I think this piece totaled somewhere between 14 and 21 hours of work (7 hours alone on the cloak), but I worked hard on it, and I liked it a good deal, and I will never draw another feather again for a very, very long time.

This is a 14x17 ink on bristol piece. It sold at the Animazement '07 art auction to a nice man who also was the highest bidder on the white mage - redux piece. Therefore--he is some kind of awesome.

This piece was also chosen by Koichi Tsunoda for 1st place in 2-D art at the AZ '07 art show. I think, perhaps, he was on crack, because I don't know how that happened and I'm still kind of in shock about it, especially since there were such nice pieces in the art show that I felt were very, very good. And especially because a lot of the art in the art show is digital, and that's all anybody seems to like these days.
