So I was playing Smash Bros when I discovered you can give Samus one of her old outfits (specifically her blue sports bra and shorts) and me being the weirdo I am decided to draw it. So Samus’s Zero Suit wasn’t fitting anymore since her twin-carrying belly had gotten too big for it, so she was lucky enough to discover one of her old outfits still fit. She’s a little cranky because she isn’t comfortable showing off so much skin, plus her hormones are going crazy right now. Though, she forgot to put into count that she’s only on her eight month, and her body hasn’t stopped changing yet…

No, she isn’t carrying Metroid eggs. Though she may want to stay away from those big pointy aliens her friend Ellen told her about…

I am still bad at proportions after all these years. Her torso and lower body look ok, but I completely botched her hands, arms, and face. Also I’m still learning how to draw clothes and hair so eep. When it comes to pregnant women I often draw the body first and that’s usually where I go from before I get tired. I’m only a human… or a turtle, I don’t know anymore.

I totally didn’t use this as an excuse to experiment with different brushes and shades.

UPDATE: I changed up her face and arms a little bit to look less awkward. Not much could be done for the hands though.
