Thank you But to be fair, I referenced this XD It's still harder for me to draw cats than canines. However, I do enjoy drawing them as well~!

D'aww.

I've actually found my dog and cat in a similar position.

They get along with each other.  Then the dog wants to play with her sometimes ... it doesn't quite work well.

We had a dog and cat who were like that as well! And the dog was pretty big they loved playing together though. The cat would sleep on top of the dog everyday, and they always went places together. Sadly, after our dog died, the cat started distancing himself from us and we hadn't seen him for days. Luckily he's fine now. As a matter of fact, the large cat in the base is him, the little cat was one of his babies ^.^ I've never seen such a gold-hearted tom cat like him. He's NEVER started fights, and stays in the yard. He even cares for his own babies when the mother's not around (which is odd, considering most tom cats don't even care).

It's always cool seeing that rare bond between a cat and dog XD it's something worth treasuring, haha.

Our cat isn't a tom, and our dog ... well, he's a really good natured dog.  When he was a pup, I'd play with his ears and paws and the webbing between the paws, and his tail ... because my wife and I wanted to have children and I was trying to do to him what I knew kids usually do.  He never tried to nip.  And when he encountered actual children, he was very, very sweet.  He was bonked on the head with a nylabone by a 3 year old, and he didn't do anything except give me a piteous look.  Another 3 year old held a chip out to him, and he ever so gently, carefully, took the edge of the chip that was extended, in his mouth, then gently, slowly pulled the chip out of her hand.  Then he put it down and gobbled it.  So he is great with kids.

The cat is strictly an indoor cat; calico cat.  She usually looks around, decides which person in the room is least fond of cats, then jumps on them and starts purring.  And, she's usually spot-on about which person she approaches.  But she's actually made the dog move out of his own bed and taken it over.  What makes it funny is that he's a 60 lb dog, shaped like a greyhound.  She's an 8 lb cat.  One night, I heard a little bit of commotion at the end of the hallway where the dog bed was ... then saw the dog coming to the computer room, wearing this pathetic, defeated expression on his face.  I looked at the end of the hallway where his bed was on the floor, and the cat was on the bed, with this look of "Why are you bothering me?" on her face.  So yeah, she's kicked the dog out of his bed.    But she's pretty tolerant, and will come to people willingly, on her terms.  We adopted her from the local shelter, and when we went to see her, she was climbing all over me, perching on my shoulders, and purring.  We seriously could not leave her there after that.
