This is amazing. So many people like the shots that for me are the most easiest to take!

Yeah, its the same here. My current most favorited pic is something I just randomly saw. I wish people would pay more attention to those that I actually planned out and put effort into

This one is nice, enjoy looking at the blue tones reflecting in the water from the lights. A bit of green doesn't bother either even makes some variety in color
Nice sky too.
Is the Impire state building on the right part of the background?

I used a "Cooling Filter" on top other adjustments.

In photoshop? or a lens filter? Using the camera's Custom WB balance (using a sheet of paper) gives some very similar results.

In Photoshop. I don't bother with setting any WB in-camera, since I shoot exclusively in RAW.

now that is much nicer. the colours of the buildings, especially the empire state give the shot so much more character. If you get another chance at shooting a similar shot, try for dusk with a bit of cloud cover, just after sunset when the light is bouncing off the underside of the clouds. great work

Thank you. I think I know what you mean. I should be shooting around 5:20 PM, during so the called "blue hour." This one was taken at 5:52 PM. I will let you know if I post anything like this in the future.

'Blue Hour', i like that term. I'd like to think of it as the best time of the day. The sky's colours change so rapidly during that hour. Its so beautiful to watch and satisfying to capture on film. I'll keep watch!

i belive I'm in concurrence with the previous comment on the black and white version. This looks really cool in color. Wow I went from "I believe I'm in concurrence" to "This looks really cool" neat-o. Anyway, FAVOURITE!!!
