► noé is the brooding sort, often thinking far too much if left to his own devices. while he usually keeps himself distracted with work and attempting to stretch the limit of his psychic ability, he always makes sure there is background noise - usually the radio.

noé is often so lost in thought that he completely misses details around him, or comprehends them far too late - and it's incredibly obvious when he does so.

while he's a hard worker when determined to achieve a goal, this can cause noé to become blind to the consequences of his actions and behaviour. coupled with how he doesn't think about long-term effects when distracted, it can cause problems for people around him despite him meaning well.

he's generally calm and friendly despite his foggy-mindedness, but won't mince words in regards to his thoughts and opinions. no matter how relaxed or distracted he may seem however, noé is always sharply aware of how close others are in relation to him, and quickly flinches away from contact.

although when lost in thought, his face is usually blank, every so often it looks just a little sad...

► noé's psychic ability manifests itself as an extreme form of empathy. through skin to skin contact, noé can channel the emotions and feelings of other people. this is not something he can turn on and off, however, and so he keeps most of his body completely covered.

noé will experience these emotions as if they were his own, but extreme emotions (such as rage, terror, ecstasy, etc) can completely overwhelm him, causing him to experience physical illness to the point of passing out.

|| noé met bastion under quite lucky circumstances. as the two became friends, noé became quickly aware of the poor situation bastion was trapped in and began doing his best to alleviate some of his struggles. i'll add more later it's almost 5am and i'm dying

► outside his ability, most of his other 'psychic' abilities and services are a sham.
► about 50% of people don't know what he's talking about when he says he's from black city. he's equally confused when he's told there's a forest where he says his hometown is.
► his psychic abilities came through extensive studying of his sylveon. ironically, it's ended up manifesting as the exact opposite of what he wanted.
► this failure was the cause (in his mind) of the loss of his mother.
► noé does secondary work to make ends meet, such as odd jobs and work online.
► he lives in a tiny apartment above a small shop. he thinks it's cool that you have to go through an alley to the back of the store to get to the stairs to his home.
► it can also get very noisy if the shop below is busy. he doesn't mind.
► he loves coffee and rain, and often falls asleep in his doorway or in the windowsill with a warm cup in rainy weather.
► he tilts his head when confused or concerned
► has two little freckles on the side of his neck
► despite keeping himself fully clothed in public, at home he generally wears no more than a pair of shorts, sometimes with a tank top. if it's cold, a sweater is added to the mix, ooh lala
