This is a purely non professional assessment - that being said - what do I enoy about your photos - The usage of the various color tones and how they enhance the photos, the actual poses, and most of all the facial expressions you evoke from your subjects - Your pictures all tell a story - I enjoy your work very much.

Very pretty model and interesting idea with the light. However, I don't think it's a usable frame. The hair is ruins it. And her teeth would've warranted the mouth closed.

I like the overall photograph but I do have some sugestions. I think it should have been shot on a darker background, and I think that the lighting could have been a bit different. Model is very attractive and naturally photogenic. One question though, were her eyes touched up in PS?

lol you got some really stupid comments, wow, I know it from my own DDs I've got, exactly the same everytime - reading the comments of DD's is always so amusing heh I'm always wondering why ppl invest so much energy in being jealous of other ppl's "popularity" and trying to depreciate their works instead of just doing it better and working on their own popularity when it's so important for them
Well ... but I must admit I would have chosen another picture of your gallery as the DD - but that's not important, just a matter of taste. It's a great photograph anyway - I like it. It's always good seeing ppl who actually know how to use Photoshop the right way

Hard to decide ... I love "White Nakedness", "Black Orange" and "The tie" for example...but I couldn't decide which one I like best oO But I like them more than "A dialogue"

first off i would just like to say that i disagree with a lot of what people have said about this picture * i skimmed though it a bit ^^* yes she looks very skinny but so does my cousin and she eats more than me a sometimes lol. and i have no idea whats wrong with that one person with the sand :S ......
i will say that the lighting may not be at perfection but i think it is done very well and i like this picture a lot ^^, i feel u have captured her innocence, when i look at her i see her as an angelic beautiful woman with big blueish green, *i cant tell, i should have prob full viewed :-p* eyes and rosey lips and cheecks ^^. which makes her look very doll like

Oh I like this. I also like the fact you have so many conflicting comments, ranging from "I'm no photographer, but your shot sucks" and "while this is wonderful, there's no way it's qualifies for a DD" and the just plain "WOW" comments
I'm not photographer either, but i have been raised by a photographer. I do not personally posses the skills, but i am aware of the theory of composition and lighting ect.
As far as I can see, the composition works. The lighting is harsh, but it appears deliberate. The pose is well done, seeming not to contrived.

Thanks. I am not a photographer either, but I do produce images that have in common that they are all made of digital pixels and then evolve into improbable directions according to my fantasy and the mood of my Photoshop handling....
This is the second time I have a DD. In the three months that I am on Deviant. I guess I am lucky....
The first time more or less every comment was "WOW!".... For this one it is far more contrasted, as you rightly pointed out....It is also much more fun. I am not bothered by the occasional insult

I really don't understand all those comments about this picture not deserving a DD?
I've really seen pictures I don't understand why they were choosed, but it's all about the admin choosing art s/he likes. So if the admin likes it, it deserves the DD? Right?
Anyways, this picture I like, it was a good choice.

hhmmm....i dont agree on her looking anerexic, shes just a skinny petite girl. Theres nothing wrong with that, and i think its a very good photo. seems as though everyone is acting a bit childish, especially killgirl, did you have to get the last word in. and how do you think she would have felt if she were to have read your comment. hes asking for a critique, the pros and cons of the photo, not a judgement on the person themselves. not trying to start an argument so im gonna shut up now...

How is it not deserving of a DD?
A DD is an admin feature with no, I repeat NO set criteria. It's not an award, nor is it for popularity. The admin chooses it because s/he likes it.
Why did I choose it? Because I like it.
Don't attack the artist, send me a note with your complaints. It's not the artist's fault that I chose it for DD.

I liked the lightin focused on her face but I think it would have been nice to have some more light on the body or a bit less light on the face so that they donΒ΄t seem too different from each other in the photo
On the other hand she is a very beautiful woman and has such pretty eyes.
