How is it not deserving of a DD?
A DD is an admin feature with no, I repeat NO set criteria. It's not an award, nor is it for popularity. The admin chooses it because s/he likes it.
Why did I choose it? Because I like it.
Don't attack the artist, send me a note with your complaints. It's not the artist's fault that I chose it for DD.

I said the picture is not that great, its not original at all and I dont like it...
I didnt say that admins have critieria, someone else did, IF you read the posts...
I simply implied that the picture is not that good, and that i disagree with the admin, whoever he/she is that it should be a feature... I have seen lots and lots of pictures that are better than this...

if it were 3d rendered then fair enough, but it isn't so whats the point?
Maybe this means that normal devs (as in those without supernatural artistic powers) actually have a chance at a DD.

agreed, and on top of that, why is it so small? did the focus come out crappy, or was it blurred and to compensate it was shrunk down?
i like my dev's big so i can gobble up or thumb my nose at the detail that was captured.
i mean, it's not a BAD picture, it's pretty good in fact, but DD? sorry, not quite.

I agree with yous, there's nothing too incredible about this picture. The lighting is soso, her hair is terrible (she could have at least combed it or something).
I thought DD's were for rare pieces of art that show extensive talent. I think there shouldn't be so many each day, reserve it for those that are truely worthy of it.

hey, not every comment can on dA can be positive and show adoration to the deviant. I take far more interest in my comments that actually say what they don't like about something, although it is nice to be told that some of my work is "cool" because at least then they're giving you recognition.

The lighting out's to much focus on the facem and takes away from the body, the body and hair looks very very dull. Or maybe you meant to put all the focus on her face.
