Thee only lizards to have ever reproduced asexually was the komodo dragon and whiptail lizards but only females can do this when males arn't present or she deems them unfit to mate. Iguanas cannot produce asexually and no lizard recorded thus far is a hermaphrodite. Mutated or not i belive Zilla being the first of its kind was a female to produce asexually for no males were present. And zilla jr was a male, if Zilla was hermaphrodite so would its off spring.During story boarding stage for the american godzilla they originally wanted it to be a female, the actual model of zilla had female reproductive organs. however because gojira was a male they mixed (little) fact with fiction.
